Fee for Service

The total estimated fee for executing the above-mentioned service(s) is calculated at checkout. The entire fee must be paid in exchange for the product. Dainty Treats & Design have the right to adjust the final price cost if the correct option wasn’t chosen before checkout (after discussing with the client).

Retainer Fee/Reserving a Date

Dainty Treats & Design do not accept retainer fees. Upon reserving a date, you must agree to policies & procedures/terms and conditions at check out, complete the contract that will be emailed within 72 hours after placing order, and full payment must be received in order to place an order.Your order is not placed until payment and the signed contract has been received. This payment and contract retains your space on the calendar.

Rush Order Policy

Rush Fee is REQUIRED for orders placed less than standard processing time for orders (2 weeks). This is applied for RUSH ORDERS ONLY.Please keep in mind that the Rush Fee does not cover any shipping. Standard Shipping will be applied to your order. If guaranteed shipping is needed, additional costs will apply if inquired. If rushes are needed the same week - please email info@daintytreatsdesign.com for approval before placing the order. Shipping may not be available for extreme rush orders. Rush fees are non-refundable or transferable under any circumstance (i.e. - moving order to a later date). Rush orders are non transferable.

Cancellations

Please contact us directly for any cancellations. Regular processed orders (not rush orders) are only refundable in the first 72 hours. Rush orders are nonrefundable. After 72 hours, a credit will be given for a future date, but the credit will be voided after 90 days.

Date Transfers

Dates are transferable if the provider has space for the date requested, your new date isn't guaranteed. Dates may only be transferred once! If a date must be transferred more than once, a new few of 50% of the order must be paid.

Rush orders are non transferable.

Refunds & Returns

Refunds are only available for canceled orders. Cancellations are only accepted for regular processed orders (not rush orders) are only refundable up to 14 days before order is due. Any time after 14 days all items are non-refundable and/or credit will not be given. Cancellations/refunds are not given on rush orders.

Due to the nature of the product(s) and personal design customization, we do not offer any refunds or exchanges under any other circumstances. Please take the time to look over all information provided and the FAQ page/tab. If you have questions prior to purchase, please contact info@daintytreatsdesign.com.

Refunds are not given if items are delayed due to the shipping carrier. (Please view the shipping tab for all shipping information). If there are issues with your order, the discrepancy must be reported via email within 24 hours of receiving the order. If the issue or discrepancy isn't reported within the timeframe, Dainty Treats & Design will not be held responsible.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns/refunds on sale items or gift cards. All sales are FINAL.

COVID/Other Illnesses

Dainty Treats & Design are not responsible for cancellations due to Covid-19 or any other sickness. In the case an event needs to be canceled, the date may be transferred once, but additional transfers will result in a fee.

Discount Codes/Gift Cardd

A valid discount code may be used with any order unless stated by the provider. Please before paying apply the discount code to your order. Once payment is made a discount code or gift card cannot be applied.

Only one discount code may be used per order.

Order Changes & Add-Ons

Changes to orders and/or add-ons are accepted until 48 hours after purchase. DOES NOT INCLUDE RUSH ORDERS. Any changes or additions to this contract must be made via email. Any changes after 48 hours will not be permitted. Verbal agreements will not be considered binding. Changes may increase the fee of service(s) – all fees must be paid in full before amendment of the client’s contract.

If you take an item away, you will not be refunded for that item after 48 hours of order being placed.

Damage Policy

We strive to make our clients happy and provide the best service possible. Upon taking possession of your items Dainty Treats & Design is not responsible for any damage occurring to the items during transport by the customer, set-up by the customer, or any time thereafter. We also will not be held responsible for any acts of nature or other forces beyond our control that may affect the delivery and/or quality of the services described in this agreement.

For shipped items, please take several photos of the damaged goods and start a claim with the shipping carrier. We will assist you the best we can. Unfortunately, receiving a refund from the shipping carrier is not guaranteed.

Order Completion

After your order is received, your order is added into our design queue. All items are handmade to order and are processed/accepted based on the event date. We will not start your order until 2 weeks prior to your event date. There is no communication before starting your order unless needed - therefore, please provide as much detail when placing your order.

Our current process time is 2 weeks. Please allow the full 2 weeks plus 2-5 days for your order to arrive if shipped.

Emergency Cancellation

Should an emergency (such as death or health issue) occur that requires Dainty Treats & Design to cancel and your order can not be completed, you will be refunded in full any payment made. Unfortunately, it is possible to be a last minute occurrence, but you will be notified as soon as possible if this occurs.

Shipping

All items are made to order and are processed/accepted based on the event date (excluding supplies; when done reading this please see below). We will not start your order until 2 weeks prior to your event date.

Our current process time is 2 weeks. Please allow the full 2 weeks plus 2-5 days for your order to arrive. If you need your items sooner, a rush fee will be required.

Priority or express shipping will not speed up the processing time, only the time it takes to arrive once shipped.

All orders will be shipped out based on the event's date. Even though we will ship your order in a timely fashion, we cannot guarantee items will be delivered by a specific date and/or time. 

Make sure someone is home to receive your package. Please note we are not responsible for any carrier that delivers your order. Dainty Treats & Design is not responsible for holiday time late deliveries, lost, stolen, or damaged packages. We also are not responsible for any incorrect shipping information put in which may hinder the client from receiving their order.

Shipping fees are non-refundable or transferable.

Delivery

Delivery is provided for local customers within a 10 mile radius. An extra fee of $25 is required for deliveries. If Dainty Treats & Design have to deliver to the event venue a representative must be present to collect the order. If Dainty Treats & Design is unable to deliver the order within 10 minutes from arrival, the order will be forfeited by the client. A refund/credit will not be given. An order release form must be signed.

Customer Pick-Up

When picking up an order, Dainty Treats & Design will grant all customers a 10 minute grace period past pick-up time. If the client exceeds 10 minutes the order will be forfeited by the client & no refunds/credit will be given.

If the client or the client’s representative elects to pick up the order, the client will assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of these items after it leaves Dainty Treats & Design. An order release form must be signed.

Color Matching

We will attempt to match colors to the best of our ability. A 100% match isn’t guaranteed.

Photographs

Dainty Treats & Design do photograph all items made. We reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you. We may also request photographs from your photographer for the same purpose, although we would credit the photographer in our marketing (if the photographer agrees thereto).

Communication

In order to avoid confusion, Dainty Treats & Design will only accept requests and/or communication with the purchaser. 

Party Favors & Design

Proofing Custom Items

Once payment is received, you will receive a proof (for design items) within days before your due date for your approval.*Please review your proof very carefully*You will receive up to 2 changes to proof included in the price. Change of entire design may result in an additional fee. Please make sure everything is accurate. We will not start to finalize the order until approval of proof is made. Once a proof is approved no edits can be made. Also, the client takes full responsibility for any design mishaps once approved.

Customer Satisfaction

It is always our goal to exceed your expectations. After a proof has been sent and approved no changes or refunds will be given.

In order to ensure pick-up/delivery quality, we require the signature of the receiver at the time of pick-up/delivery.

NO REFUND OR CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE.

Copyrights

Please note that you are paying for a creative service and the time spent designing and personalizing your item(s) with personal information and/or touches. All items purchased are for personal use only, and should not be shared, altered, or resold. Commercial use is not allowed. Any characters used are not being sold and are included for free. Character copyrights belong to their original owners.We do not sell or claim ownership of the license used in our designs; they belong to their respective copyright holder(s).

Printed Items

You will receive a completed product printed and filled unless otherwise stated.

Digital Designs Only

You will receive a high resolution non-editable pdf file via email. No shipping required! Print as many as you need! You are responsible for printing and assembling your items when choosing this option. No refund will be given for printing issues.

Shipping & Delays

Important Notice: Order delays can occur for a variety of reasons;

Therefore, design delays may happen occasionally, especially during peak design season or under unexpected severe workload. Please understand that Printing/Shipping and Pickup delays can occur depending on the third party vendor season/workload. Third party vendor delays are out of Dainty Treats & Design control. Please allow extra timing for your project to guarantee receiving items on time. 

Panel Walls

For wall panels, sizes are an estimate of the final outcome. Sizes may vary some depending on the shape & cut of the final design. Panels are not self standing and installation instructions are not given. Customer is responsible for the complete install.

Treats

Non-Toxic Disclosure for Treats

Metallic golds, metallic silvers, edible leaves, and glitter is a non-toxic product and is not FDA approved in the United States. If you are uncomfortable with this, please let us know.  

Allergies

DAINTY TREATS & DESIGN MAY CONTAIN OR COME IN CONTACT WITH MILK, WHEAT, NUTS OR OTHER ALLERGENS. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT TO INFORM HIS/HER GUESTS OF THIS FACT. DAINTY TREATS & DESIGN IS NOT RESPONSIBLE & WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY ALLERGIC REACTIONS OR INJURIES SUSTAINED AS A RESULT OF CONSUMPTION.

Care for Treats

Store treats at room temperature (74 degrees or lower) or in a cooler. Any temperature higher than the aforementioned may melt your desert. If items will not be consumed within 24 hours place treats in an airtight container or bag. Do not leave treats out in the heat. We are not responsible for melted items. You are responsible for providing a secure table and an appropriate environment for your treats. Dainty Treats & Design is not responsible for your items once they leave our hands.

Customer Pick-Up

When picking up an order, Dainty Treats & Design will grant all customers a 10 minute grace period past pick-up time. If the client exceeds 10 minutes the order will be forfeited by the client & no refunds/credit will be given.

If the client or the client’s representative elects to pick up the order, the client will assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of these items after it leaves Dainty Treats & Design. A pick-up form must be signed.

Transporting

When transporting, avoid placing treats on the seat of the vehicle. It is best to transport on a flat, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat, and/or order. It is also best to transport in a cool vehicle. Heat can damage your desserts.

Customer Satisfaction

It is always our goal to exceed your expectations. We ensure the quality of all items by testing all products before each order is completed.

In order to ensure customer satisfaction and pick-up/delivery quality, we require the signature of the receiver at the time of pick-up/delivery. Before signing or leaving the premises the client must address any design concerns with us.If the client notices a flaw within the design, the item(s) will be returned immediately in order to receive a credit for the item(s). If the item is not returned immediately the client's potential credit will be forfeited.

If the problem is with taste or quality, contact us immediately (within 24 hours). Please return your COMPLETE order to us (pictures are not acceptable as evidence.) The order must be intact in order to receive a future credit for the same amount of the order (This does not include shipping, delivery, and/or rush fees.) Since all items are customized for each client, refunds are not given for any reason.
